Heimat can mean many things in german language. Roots, geographical origin, the house of your parents or even the feeling of beeing at home. Heimat is a concept related to the memory of past feelings and situations. It´s a place that does only exist in our minds and is exposed to changes as far as we keep on living in motion.

Ausschnitte von Zeitungsfotografien aus meiner Kindheit im Baskenland dienen als Ausgangspunkt der großformatigen Zeichnungen. "The Cooling Star Collection" zeigt die Erinnerung an die Heimat und stellt dabei die Schnittstelle zwischen persönlicher und kollektiver Erinnerung in den Vordergrund.
